Ruby Project
Solace and IMECE Women’s Centre are working in partnership to provide a pan-London Housing First Service supporting Black and ethnically minoritised women experiencing multiple disadvantages, including domestic abuse, substance misuse and homelessness.
The project provides holistic, intensive and trauma-informed support in line with Housing First principles, with support offered separately from housing. Project workers help women establish and maintain their homes, access benefits and local services, manage bills and rent, and reconnect with their communities. As VAWG specialists, we also provide support with safety planning, risk assessments, referrals for protective orders, sanctuary schemes and other specialist domestic abuse services.
The project is delivered in Turkish and English.
