We are looking for exceptional bilingual VAWG Advice Worker for our specialist Violence Against Women and Girls Advocacy service

IMECE Women’s Centre is a woman only centre aiming to improve the quality of lives of women from Black Ethnic Minority backgrounds, particularly from Turkish/ Kurdish and Cypriot Turkish communities by providing a wide range of services including individual counselling and group works.

This post is created to improve women’s access to generic and specialist domestic violence support service across allocated London Boroughs. Post holder is expected to provide one to one crises intervention support service to survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse and up follow up case work. The post holder is also expected to organise and facilitate generic and specialist support groups for survivors of domestic violence. Applicants will be fluent in Turkish and English (Kurdish is highly desirable).
