Are you a Turkish / Kurdish / Cypriot Turkish woman with a passion for women’s rights?

IMECE Women’s Centre is looking for dedicated, passionate people of all ages and levels of experience to join our Board of Trustees to enable us to continue our vital work, supporting women experiencing violence, abuse, discrimination and poverty. We are particularly looking for people with skills and expertise in finance, HR and law. However, we would love to hear from anyone who feels that they could contribute towards maintaining and developing the values, vision and aims of IMECE Women’s Centre.

If you possess these qualities and can commit between 2 and 6 hours each quarter (every 3 months) this could provide a unique opportunity and a rewarding experience. As a Trustee, you will be helping to make sure that we are doing the best we possibly can for Turkish, Kurdish, Cypriot Turkish women in the UK.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people with a positive attitude this exceptional and valued unpaid role. You would be working with a team of highly skilled professionals from a variety of backgrounds including mental health, education, statutory sector, charity, housing and safeguarding.
