IMECE’s Advice and Information Service provides high quality, accessible guidance, information, advice and advocacy on rights and entitlements to enable women to make informed decisions.

What do we offer?

We offer free, confidential, impartial, and independent advice on a wide range of subjects including:

Welfare Benefits

Income maximization

Domestic Violence

Debt

Homelessness, housing and maintenance

Hate crime, harassment, ASBOS

Care and personalization

Neighbour dispute

Health

Employment

Education

Any other advice

The service is for Turkish, Kurdish, Turkish Cypriot, and any other Turkish-speaking women aged 18+.

Our advisors work extensively with individual women to support securing positive outcomes that can contribute towards gaining, re-gaining and maintaining their self-confidence and independence.

9.30 am - 5.30 pm through

Our service during Coronavirus / Covid-19

We are following NHS / government guidance in dealing with
the current situation.

We continue offer our services at full capacity. However, to protect our clients,
staff, and volunteers, we have suspended our face-to-face services temporarily.

Currently we offer our services remotely.
